how do you change the chip in a ecu without messin it up
if your ECU has been chipped, it has a ZIF (zero insertion force) socket and you just lift the lever and change the chip. If its not chipped, get it chipped and then change the chip
ummm, buy a chipped tested ECU
then have someone that tunes hondas and works for a company with a dyno dyno tune it.
thats about the only way.

ok so how do i protect the chip from static electricity?i have a p06 that has been modified to a p28 it is socketed and chipped i just need to change the chip out!
Mine doesn't have a ZIF socket. His might not too. If that's the case, you just pull up on the chip, and it'll come right out.
As long as you're grounded, you're not going to damage anything from a static shock.
Oh yeah, and don't put the new chip in backwards. I'm not sure if it will actually do any damage when you try to start the car, but it's never a good idea.
