removing cat
Tried a search and just need a quick answer. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to remove the cat bolts easier other than an impact gun. I tried removing the 3 bolts last night and they are rusted and will not turn. used wd-40 and still nothing, any advice?
I called them every name in the book. I just can't put my full body weight into breaking them loose because the car is only about 4 inches off the ground and it is hard to get any leverage.

Try heating up the bolts and then try the impact gun, if you get lucky, you will get it off. But most of the times......nahh, never happens. i had to chop mine off with a cutting wheel and buy new bolts later on. good luck.

I just took out that whole section of exhaust piping with the cat disconnected at the headers. Then I took out the piping and cat all at once and had a friend stand on it to get it off w/ a breaker bar
