Default eBoost2 - Not for Honda?

I've yet to see anyone running a Turbosmart eBoost2 unit on a turbocharged Honda. Why is this? Is the Apex-i AVC-R more beneficial, even though they both share the same features?

The earlier Eboost2's have problems with accepting the RPM signals from a Honda.. I had several units from the early days (when Eboost2 first came out) and never worked on a Honda. I could never get a useable RPM signal from them.

The later models seem fine, but I guess there are so many other choices for boost controllers for Hondas. I do run the Eboost2 for both my Toyota turbocharged cars (Supra and Camry).

Would you happen to know which part #'s differentiate the 'old' models from the new?

I purchased mine used and the RPM signal did work alright until a few days ago. For some reason now it just reads 240 in the display....

No prob. Turns out I was looking at the wrong display anyway. LOL

The RPM signal comes in pretty well. Although sometimes it'll fluctuate at go from say 3000rpm to 9400 rpm for like .5 secs. I guess it gets spikes in the signal?
