I am looking into getting a s2000 but i notice there is a difference in the 00-03 and 04-07 with the headlights,tail lights, engine and rims but is the 04-07 that much more better and worth it ??

this has been covered a lot.

In a nutshell,

The 04-07s are softer, more user friendly.

The 00-01 is the most agressive.

The 02-03 is the happy medium (they also come with the glass rear window).

There's TONS of differences. Use the search. lots of people have asked the same question, so there's a lot of facts and opinions out there.

everybody on here gets so offended when someone sais somethin about an ap1, I never said anything bad i said it was a personal preference thats all, i owend both cars they are both great and i would never own an ap1 again thats all. Honestly the only reason i bought my ap1 is because it was cheap and i didnt wanna spend 5 grand more on an ap2. And then i wanted a newer car.

i dont have a s2k myself, but i am interested in purchasing one. again it is personal perferences, but i think the the 02+ have slightly better interior. and 04+ has the nice front/rear bumper. i like the 00-03 headlights and tailight. kinda hard to decided between the AP1 vs AP2.

 

The best combination IMO would be AP2 styling with an AP1 engine.

Yes really, because in areas outside of sunny SoCal, around America...It actually get's cold santos. and the plastic in your top cracks one day when you're lowering it. and then you find yourself cursing honda. and then you realize you don't have 1000 bucks for a new soft top. and thats when you realize you hate your life
