Magnaflow has started making ones but none for civic's yet. Unless a prelude or accord one will fit. Anyone know?

Thanks

Car-sound makes a nice 50-state legal Weld-in CAT for all 4cyl sport compacts, which can be found under the exhaust section on http://www.inlinefour.com
Cost's about 100$ shipped, but its 50-stage legal and of OE-quality, not some high-flow ebay s**t.
Thats really about your only option, unless you plan to get another OEM civic bolt-in one, or have any other 4cyl honda one (like an accord or integra) welded in.

Thanks Mike, that looks like it will do fine! Where does it say that its 50-state legal though? I didn't see it on the description.

Pamphlet in the box with info and instructions. Its 50 state legal in the US and of OE quality. Universal weld-in design for all 4banger acura/honda's in mind

sorry to bump this again. But does anyone know of a bolt-on one? I'm getting a new exhaust soon and don't want to go through the hassle of welding it on/taking it off.

I'm looking at the Honda EPC right now and I don't see one.

Yea, you can replacment ones at the dealer, ive inquired at my local honda parts desk about them before out of curiosity. They are very expensive though if you buy from the dealer. I believe the guy had said a 96-00 cat (brand new) was around $450-$500.

You may have some trouble in CA (which I notice you're from) with an OBD2 vehicle, but should be fine in the other 49 states. They provide good quality bolt-on Cats -- flow tested as well.

Just get the weld in type and have them weld flanges to it so it will mate up with your oem exahust.

That's what I was figuring I'd have to do. OEM ones are exremely expensive.
