Default 03 civic lx trouble need help please

My friend has an 03 civic lx with about 67,000 miles on it. When you are letting off the clutch and pressing the gas to get out of first gear the car starts jumping in the front.. the same kind of jumping as if you were starting off and don't have traction. The only thing that could come to my mind when i test drove it is the clutch might be slipping..... if you have any suggestions on what it could be that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I can't really tell what's going on. It sounds as if your friend is just having typical wheel hop. Try not giving so much gas or releasing the clutch slower.

from your description it doesn't sound like the clutch is slipping...more like your friend is giving too much gas.

haha your meannnnn j/k
i mean this is a long shot guess. but maybe if its hopping really bad it may be a motor mount thats fucked. so when you give it power the motor is jumping around like a Mexican jumping bean.
