Default B18B1 into a 89 Si need help

This is my first honda and i need answers on swapping a b18b1 into my crx. the motor is from a 94 integra short of the ecu, distributor and wire harness. i have also a cable actuated transmission plus conversion mounts and shift linkages.

My question is do i need all the 94 components (wire harness, ecu, distributor, axles) to complete this swap before i search for my missing parts? any answers are greatly appreciated.

i wanna build a strip car, but for right now im trying to get it going and running.

to run the engine "correctly" you would modify your stock engine harness to fit the b18 (and delete the injector resistor box), then buy an obd1 ls dizzy and ecu, and a rywire obd0 -obd1 jumper harness and four wire o2 sensor and rewire your dizzy plug to accept the obd1 dizzy plug.

To do it my way: modify your stock engine harness to fit the b18 keep your injector resistor box and find some 90-91 integra injectors(stock civic si injectors from your 89 might be the same), purchase an obd0 90-91 ls ecu and dizzy, plug and friggin play, no wiring.

This engine runs great on the 90-91 integra ECU since nothing is really different from your engine to a 90 engine besides ecu and dizzy... You can upgrade to obd-1 later if you decide you need tuneability

dpfi = Dual point fuel injection (2 injectors -non si models)
mpfi = Multi point fuel injection (4 incectors - si models and the b18b)

Jesus people. Can't you read. He has an Si which means it already is MPFI.

All you need is to PLUG ALL the plugs into the proper thing. The obd0 LS uses NOTHING more then what an Si engine has.

Yes, 90-93 Teg non ABS driveshafts work great with the 90-93 teg half shaft. Use 94+ if you have a 94+ half shaft.

No, you do NOT need 94 components.

You use your stock harness (always with every single swap), you use a B18A1 (90-91 teg) dizzy, ecu and you can use your stock Si injectors, O2 sensor and any other sensor you need. Honda built things very simple, you make 1 part, and use it on all your engines, it's cheaper that way. If anything is broken any other LS engine will have a component you can use, and for electronics take any broken parts off your Si engine.
