Ok first off big thumbs up to my boss at Trackmasters here in Huntsville Arthur **** for his tunning. Friday night everyone at our shop was trippin out on the numbers my boys type r laid down. Before coming in to dyno the motor never saw anymore then 14 pounds of boost. Car had been running for a bout two months now. Anyways let me get to the point. Matt ( guy who owns the type r ) was hoping to make around 500 to 550 on his very simple set up. Well needless to say we were all shocked by the numbers 628hp and 404 tq. Everyone was flippin out. After a pass at 25 pounds made 594hp and blowing the intercooler piping off we all new it had 600 in it. And it sure did as i stated above. Now i know that lots of people have made over 600hp but on Matts set up its insane numbers. The setup is below
Set-up:
Sleeved GSR block by Golden Eagle 84.5mm
Je 9:1 compressions pistons
LS eagle rods
LS crank
All oem parts bearings, oil pump headgasket etc
Headstuds
Stock ITR head and valve trane
CTR cams
Stock b16 intake manifold and tb
stock fuel rail and regulator
walbro 255 intank
stock fuel lines
1000cc rc injectors
honda s300 with gm boost solenoid
stock cam gears
GT35r turbo with antiserge holes
3" open downpipe and open wastegate
2.5" intercooler piping
Stock itr tranny with itr lsd
regular 6 puck sprung clutch from compatition clutch and has a flywheel to i think
Made 628hp and 404 tq at 28 psi
I dont have a pick of the dynoe sheet yet but i will get one tomorrow until then here are picks off the car the next day at out dyno meet

Im still tripping out on the numbers i will have the chart up tomorrow afternoon to let all you no believers see.
Also wanted to let everone know that it is possible to have stco lines and a walbro intank and make close to 700. Out shop car makes 670 spinning on the dyno with a walbro and stock lines. One key to this is for the fuel pump to have its own 12volt source and have 10 gauge power cable for it. Matts car was at its limits of fuel cause he didnt have its own power source.

of course hes not going to be riding around like that and your right probably wont last a long time at that power level but still very empressive for the set up. He is e-mailing me the dyno chart so i may have it up tonight if not i have to wait till tomorrow and get it of the dyno computer at work

yea, if i'd already spent that kind of money, there's no way i'd risk losing my efforts over high numbers. i'd be a bit more patient and buy a better fuel system before going over 450 wheel.

first of all he may have a total of 4500 in the entire set-up which is freakin good for 600 hp. And we definately were not looking for 600+ hp. Its was a very surprising feet. He is going to do a better fuel set-up which will include a sump in the fuel tank and a external pump instead of an intank. And a adjustable fpr. Also 28 pounds on that turbo isnt to bad our race car has a 35r a we run it at 36 pounds of boost and its been together for over two years and makes more power now then ever.
My pont on this post was that you dont have to spend gobbs of money to make alot of hp. If you have the right combination of parts then 500+ is fairly easy. Plus no one rides around with that much power on the street cause its pointless. I for track purposes only.

heres the part where its gonna get bad. CUBISH will really let you have it, he dont hold back much! haha

I'm not sure exactly how much boost it was running but it is a t4/gt35 and it made 670whp. We'll be at IFO this sunday running 10s in montgomery.

670 is the correct power but boost was falling of from 35-36 to 32 and just blowing the tires off the dyno from 7000 to 10000. I can get the dyno chart for that up it and i will get picks of the car also. ANd yes it is a t4/35r, thanks lee

Reason why we push it so hard is because its a track car only and why not. Its lasted this long so far and makes killer power.
