89-91 crx lca's & 90-91 teg lca's the same>>??
i have been trying to get lower control arms for the rear of my 88' crx si.....i'm not having much luck but i do have access to an older model 2nd gen. integra ....my question is are they the same? so i could use them
i believe they are different. cant find the webpage now, but there was one comparing them side to side. the length was the same but the strut point on the lca was different. your looking for the fork style one right?
from what i understand only the 88 crx si had the different type (same as type r) rear LCA. so you should be able to use any 89-91 rear lca and any non 88 crx si rear LCA.
I can confirm about 90 teg LCA's on a 90 Civic or CR-X. I currently have them on my 90 civic and I would imagine 90-93 tegs would be the same. Only difference is the tegs have the hole to but the rear sway bar bracket to. Si would also be the same as the teg.
Opps my bad. I didn't notice you was wanting to use them on a 88. I dont believe they will work. I just seen your title that said 89-91 LCA's. I cann't confirm that they will fit a 88. I can check around with some people I know to find out what would work if anything.

I can confirm positively that Integra LCA's are different that 90-91 Civic LCA's - the Integra's are straight, while the Civic's have a bit of a kink in them, hence the difference in suspension geometry if you change out the LCA's when doing a rear brake swap. I just called the dealer & asked if the part numbers are the same - they're not - & my buddy at the dealer said the diagram of the LCA's looks like the 88 is straight, but the 90-91 aren't.
So, unfortunately, I can't answer your question except to say that maybe they are the same!
