No, not that hard at all if you're changing out the entire harness for your car.

Oh, you're not?

Well, you probably want to do what the best in the industry do then, and enjoy converting your harness instead. You're not the first to try from my knowledge, although I could be wrong and it could just be people have asked the question numerous times, not tried it.

i've done this to my civic hatchback ef. i used everything out of a 95 civic dx hatch. not hard at all, drop it in and go. the only thing you have to do is use the civic's fues boxes etc... you can repin that harness to work with your 88-91 cluster. but the only thing is you'll be using the eletronic vss.

i just finshed my 89 sedan. i used a conversion harness it was pretty simple.

i did for a guy once,,never again...

he wanted his 89 civic to be a 94 teg gsr..took everything inlcuding the seats brakes,motor,etc,etc...there was alot of plugs that didnt fit right and some needed to be spliced and soldered and some just needed to be cut off and taped or de-pinned if possible and completly removed...pain the *** never again..

But the good part was the car was completly stripped..
