skunk2 shift knob. titanium?
i have a skunk2 shift ****,

and i recently learned about how you can anodize your own shift ****, if it is titanium. so i was wondering if the skunk2 shift **** is titanium. i have the box from it but all it says is billet shift ****. maybe I'm asking a stupid question, but is this shift **** titanium? and if so does anyone have a picture of this shift **** after its been anodized? what would happen if you tried to anodize a shift **** that wasn't titanium? please help me out if you have any knowledge about these sorts of things...thank you.

"Skunk2 Shift ***** are machined from billet stainless steel and feature a PVD titanium coating that resists scratching and wear."
hope that helps, titanium coating but machined from stainless.

you can anodize any metal
anodizing is like chromeing somthing, its a simalar process
i think your refering to the thread where the guy torched his ti jdm itr shift **** and it was all purple and blue
if im correct, no you cant do that to your shift ****, you will just end up destroying it
you can only torch solid ti ***** to that purple color

the only reason i ask about titanium is i found a titanium anodizing kit. so i assumed titanium is the most commonly and/or easiest to anodize.
