Hi folks

anyone have any idea what size the stock F20B throttle body is? I just got a Skunk2 manifold and I'm wondering if a Blox 70mm or Skunk2 TB will make even more difference..

 

i havent put mine on yet, thats why im kinda confused if i should use the stock the throttle body, althought i do have i/h/e, and an actual F20B motor

 

on mine, the tb matches up perfectly to the 2.5" AEM short ram prelude fit... so that would mean 62 or 63mm I think? It might only be 2.25" though... I am not really sure

 

the inside of mine was 58mm

 

that sounds right. I guess the AEM intake is 2.25"

 

to the OP:

You definitely want a bigger tb than the stock f20b one, the hole in the sk2 manifold is 66mm IIRC, go at least that big. Make sure you portmatch.

thats because she didn't tune it. did you?

 

i put a skunk2 68 with a skunk2 manifold port matched, and it made a huge differenece..sounds nice too
