Default Horn wiring question

So I've been looking into a Sparco steering wheel with the quick release.

After talking to Sparco, they have said you cannot use the Horn anymore with the quick release. So I wanted to know how the horn wiring works...

For instance, what if I were to rig something up so that when I took off the steering wheel I just disconnected the wires from the steering wheel going into the hub adapter? Some sort of "snap on" kinda of thing?

Not knowing how the horn wiring works, I didn't know if this was even feasible. Thanks guys.

sparco sells horn buttons similar to what the mugen fg360 horn buttons look like so i think you need to talk to someone else at sparco. all i know is the negative needs to touch the steering column creating the ground for the horn button. im too lazy to figure it out.

yea I already bought that 2 button one for the horn. I mean, the negative will touch regardless. I don't think you touch that to take the stock wheel off and put the hub adapter on. I wonder if theres a way to keep the horn buttons attached to the quick release while taking the steering wheel off....even if I had to gorilla glue it haha.

It can be done! I have a quick release and have no problem having the horn work.. You will need a crx horn shoe (or you can use the end metal piece of a pen). Run a line from the horn show to the horn wire under your dash...

thanks man...still kinda confusing since I've never taken a steering wheel off or really know what hes talking about. Hopefully it will make sense once I get it off and someone shows me which wires were for the horn.
