2002 Accord Brake problems
Hi guys,
I am having the following problem with my Accord. When I am driving at Highway speeds and I break, the car starts shaking. At lower speeds it doesn't do it. I pulled the parking brake while driving on the highway the other day and the car started shaking again, so I think it might be a problem with the rear brakes.
My car is a 2002 Accord SE 4cyl with drums in the rear.
Any help or suggestions about my problem would be appreciated.

Is it speeds or just the pressure you put on the pedal that gives you that feeling?
Usually when a car shudders when you brake you have warped rotors from prolonged heavy use.

Why would you pull the e-brake at highway speeds? Drifting?
Anyways drum brakes are weak. so doing damage will be hard to do. Did you pull it hard or??? Car shake? Or steering wheel? Or both?

i think its safe to assume he didnt pull it hard enough to lock the rear wheels.

Thanks for the answers. I'm gonna try to answer all your questions.
The shuddering comes at high speeds (highway) when you press the breaks hard. If you press them lightly, there is no vibration.
I pulled the e-brake only lightly, to try to narrow down the problem, i.e. front or rear breaks.

It's a very good diagnostic practice to help narrow down the source of a brake vibration.

Not always. Sometimes the rears can feed back through the hydraulic system and cause the wheel to shake. It's more common with rear drums. The whole car will usually shake also.

When I press the brakes the steering wheel doesnt shake at all. And again, I feel the vibration only at highway speeds when I press the brakes hard. If I press them lightly, everything is fine.

Take a look at the rears.
