Default Need help on modifing CRX with B16a1 motor

Ok i have a 88 hf CRX with a B16a1 motor with y1 trans,

I want to know what should i do to make the car go 13s high or super low 14s

what i have on the car- take off headlight intake, kamikazi header, full 2 1/4 exhaust pipe no cat, short shifter, Vafc , 6al,

i have sitting around , skunk 2 cams, cam gear, 94 LS intake mainifold,

what i'm going to do with the car for tracks---cut out the door shells , no interior, 14in rims rear , front slicks or nitto 555r drag radials, computer chip ,

what should i do let me know on what you guys did and had experience with modifying a crx with b16a1 motor

this is my first CRX i had 3 94 gsr so i this is a different thing to me

Why an LS manifold????

Go with the ITR intake it's a well worth upgrade. Also boosting from what I read you need to run either the Zdyne or Hondata ecu. The PR3 or PWO will not cut it! Besides the B16 in the CRX had potential already. It's like what Giuseppe said "Slicks". I plan on staying with the N/A setup in my wifes CRX. When we move back home she wants to go race the Quick Chick races at Cambell. Anyways nice to see people from back home on this board.

put in the skunk2 cams and valvesprings, titanium retainers, eagle rods and je pistons, je rings, mugen or other high compression headgasket (non copper). then, axles and slicks. drag radials are also useable on the street, good luck if you ever get in some rain.

there is no reason to gut your doors out, think a little bit about safety as well. i can understand pulling out the rear section of the interior, not that it will save a huge amount of weight. ditch the LS manifold, get an ITR or skunk2. also ditch the kamikaze header for a DC 4-1 JDM ITR copy. they are about $325 depending where you look, and the 2.5" collector makes those cams breathe much better.

Jack up your timing and add fuel pressure. Dropped me ~0.2s in the 1/4.

9500 rpm's, not w/ stock retainers i hope. and i didnt know they even made 40 shots. Just grab a 55-75 shot zex kit. You be low 13's at least.
