Default Now I want to lower my car

OK I have a 2006 Honda Civic with 245/40R18 rims and tires on it. Now I want to lower my car with the stock struts.Nothing to crazy, I was looking at Eibach Sportline Spring Set (AVG LOW IS-1.4”F 1.4”R) Now my question for you guys can I do this drop on the Stock Struts, or will there be any problems? Will I need camber kit for the car? Will I notice the drop with the rims that I have on the car? Any Info that you guys can give me I appreciation!!!!!!!!

theres always the risk of blowing stock struts when putting just lowering springs. so be careful with that

im lowering right now with stock rims and tires. i see no camber wear. but people who are lowered even just on springs, and have aftermarket rims and tires have really bad camber wear. so you might want to invest in some cambers. just just because of tire wear but it'll keep your tires evenly planted for best traction.

and a drop with your 18's would look clean IMO

On stockers you're gonna blow them over time. I dropped my Accord only 1.25" and it lasted about a year.

To do it best, get some decent performance shocks and springs. The HFP kit will lower it an inch, for example. Corsportusa.com has the Tokico Blues which will handle a modest drop.

A camber kit is recommended for anything over an inch, from what I've read from Comptech and Eibach.

Eibach Prokit dude. . .the drop is perfect, not too much, not too little. And the ride quality is perfect. . .
