With doubts in my car lately and the itch to sell it and buy a 240....those doubts and thoughts were quickly gone after today.

I ran in DSP. Had a great time. New omni sport coilovers did great, and idrove pretty well for my first event ever.

Only 2 cars in my class. A stock motor 240 on full suspension, caged, and also had slicks. He ran about a half a second faster than me. so im pretty stoked about how well i did.

Fastests stock class time of the day was 59.xx and i ran multiple 61.xx

With some more seat time i should get better. Then slowly ill make adjustments as needed!

What mods do you have? I'm curious as to why you where in DSP.

 

Intake, cat-back (BC spec 2), Omni full bodies

it was kinda confusing. im not sure what class i should be in either since i dont have back seats. Im thinking im supposed to be in SM.

They said it shouldnt be a problem since im new and wont do good and its the last race ofthe season...little did they know! lol

You on street tires or Race tires?

 

Street tires.

The other car in the class (240sx) was on race rubber...

It sounds like STX is gonna be where you wanna be next time. You are legal for DSP but not really competetive for that class based on your mods. Most importantly, it's all about fun and learning caR control.

 

I'd say STX too, but I'm not sure on the removal of seats.

 

STX does say minimum of 4 seats....

 

in that case, put your seats back in and be in STX or stay in DSP. I think you'd be way more competitive in STX
