Low idle in 01 CRV
After reading some other threads it seems I should first check the PCV valve. I'll replace it while I'm at it.
If that doesn't work should I then get a helms manual to check the IACV?
I also saw something about there being an adjustment on the throttle body. This was on another engine all together but I thought the B20 might have it as well. If so then what was that adjustment for?
Does all this sound like a good plan of attack or is there something else I should be doing for diagnosing a low idle issue on this particular car?

So I guess that means I need to get a helms manual or something similar. Maybe I can check it out from the library? They have a ton of those there, hopefully they might have one for this car. Otherwise whats the best way to check that?
Hmm.. Low idle huh?.. Well, first thing I always do is pull out the air filter and see where it idles. Then I start my troubleshooting with by cleaning the throttle body opening and reset the PCM. The I just let it idle for a few minutes and see where it's at. I try not to jump to conclusions too fast and just start with the basics.
all youhave to do is remove the two 12mm bolts on the iac valave there is two hole in it you dont have to disconnect coolant lines or the plug it will move awayfrom the intake clean the screen in one hole with some strong carb cleaner and you will be happy.good luck !!!!!
