I have a honda Civic 2006. When I purchased the car they installed a polar remote start (model sh 433-101). I am trying to find a manual to take the remote start out of valet mode since the car will not remore start and it is going to be -30 soon. I have called honda as well as taken the car in for service. When it was brought in to servive twice they both times forgot to fix the remote start issuse for me. They told me it was easy and I should be able to find info on the internet to help me with this, however I have not found any info. Is there someone there who can help?

Hold on... the dealer told you to research it online?
Call Honda corporate right now and express how displeased you are with that.

and you tell them that a Compliance Officer that works for a BANK supplied you with this

I have called honda and complained about the local honda service a few times, as had my wife. We have had bad service with them a few times, as had many others that I have spoke to. Unfortunatly the other nearest honda shop is about 300 km so we are stuck. I really like my car too.

 

Thanks for the info. However the info you sent is not the same model as the one that honda installed. The one that I have which was installed by honda, at the time of purchase, is by polar (I think - as that is the name on the remote start key chain). There is no model number on it, but on the part that looks like the transmitter on my window hs the numbers sh 433-101
