I could be wrong but i'm assuming that all ef 4 doors are dpfi. For some reason the ex comes to mind for the 4 door also, not sure if it's mpfi or not. If the car's dpfi then get ready to do a dpfi-mpfi conversion and then put the B in.

Get the EX sedan (ED4). It's already MPFI and shares the same engine with the CRX SI and Civic SI (D16A6).

The LX and DX sedans (ED3) are DPFI, so you would have to convert your wiring to a much farther extent. It's been done before, but save yourself the headache, and get a ED4.

Obviously the ex would be the easiest route to take, however, finding one in good condition is becoming more difficult.

I just sold my EX a few months back. It was the first one that I found in a long time. Not only do they share thed same motor as the Si, but they also share the same size front brakes as an Integra or EF9/8

they are DPFI(dual point fuel injection). they use 2 injectors instead of 4.

right thanx streetwerkz. even though you were kind of trying to make fun of me. I was just wondering cuz since it is like a family car or was a family car it kind of made sense to have a more full efficient tranny/ engine combo. if that makes any sense

I dont really think he was trying to poke fun at you as much as he was the redundancy of honda's engine/tranny combo in their product models.

So the Ex is 4pt injection? Makes since. Learn something new every day I guess
