ok so im removing mine to gut it cause its falling apart from the inside... its a 93 Si Lude... my question is what do u guys normally use to get to the nuts on the top of the pipe. I cant get a regular socket or wrench in there to get to it... i got 4 out of 6 bolts off and cant get the top 2 off... Would a knuckle help? I can go buy one...

 

Take the hangers off, and the flex pipe will bend down far enough to get those two other bolts.

 

try using a 3/8" drive extension with a universal joint between the socket and extension, thats how i dropped mine

 

i dropped the whole exhaust on mine. For me it was a problem getting to the bolts it was getting them off. Which i did finally.

 

Mine were rust intergrated onto the flange. Angle grinder cut them right off.
