good base primer and touchup but invest in a good clear gun if you plan on painting more than once. Sata makes REALLY nice guns but they can be pricey

For a DIY'er it should work just fine. Probably won't last as long as a more expensive gun but will definately give you a decent paintjob as long as you have some knowledge of painting.
