, but the only bad thing about getting aftermarket shocks for the dc5 is that the front is not double wishbone. for the front two shocks you will have to build them using the koni yellows along with some oem parts from the stock shocks it includes drilling. ETC. and IMO if you dont know what you are doing i dont consider drilling into gas shocks. but i will say it would be a perfect setup when you get it to work.
please correct me if i am wrong.

i know someone whos also selling a set for front and rear for about 500 brand new on here. i was going to buy them as my setup until he told me what i stated above!
Your not wrong. I just bought some Koni Yellows and they look great on my car. You had to drill the bottom a little to release the gas from the strut and leak the fluid out. The front struts you had to cut with a hack saw at a curtain place and pull the old one and and slide the new one in. Besides that it was breeze. Just some fine machine work. Good luck.
thanks for the help guys but i wasnt really thinking about doing all that work...so do you guys only reccomend koni yellows or are there any other good ones out there with less of a hassle to install

you can also go with a full coilover/damper setup. if so buddyclub N+'s are goood. i would highly suggest! really easy to install imo as well.

I highly recommend Koni Yellows on ground controls. If your really serious add some hotchkis 4 way adjust camber plates on too. Performance is amazing but what is even better is Koni and Ground Controls customer service. Both have excellent customer service that get the problems taken care of asap.
Well its all about how much you want to spend and what your looking for. If your looking for looks and not much to do with handling you should be fine doing springs but if you want both or handling and the ability to adjust it your self you can do coilovers.
