Default b16 crx mounts

If the JDM crx si had a b16 in it, how come stock mounts can't be used.
Please enlighten me.

I'd imagine the mount brackets that are welded on the frame rail's and rear cross member are in the same location whether it's a USDM or JDM civic/crx. It might be the actual motor mounts that are different. But then why couldn't we just by the JDM mounts, instead of getting aftermarket ones from hasport/innovative.

I'm just taking a guess though.

the ef's/ed's/(whatever the hell you want to call them) that came stock with the b16's have their engine bays setup differently..It's comparible to the 90-93 integra engine bay.

On a side note,,you could use 1 stock integra mount on the passenger side,,

So could I replace the rear crossmember with a JDM crossmember and then use stock mounts?
The reason I'm pursuing this is because I heard the aftermarket mounts make the car vibrate a lot.
