I have an old D16Y8 bottom end sitting here in my dorm room that i pulled out of my car after i spun a rod bearing and i have been thinking of building it back up. i am in school for Automotive Technology and right now i'm in engines class so i thought this would be a good project!


the block is going to be bored out some and i'm not sure on how much bigger i can go and i'm not sure on the crank if i can still use it either..... but if any one could give me some ideas on building it. i was thinking of going with a high compression motor, and i planed on using a Z6 or D15B vtec head.


so any inputs would be great or if you mite have some links. Thanks
