Default Head transplant

I have a D15A2 block that I'm rebuilding and I didn't want to go with a VTEC motor right off the bat, I'd rather wait until I can afford a JDM type R motor but that's another story.

The head was fucked so I got a CRX SI head from a friend of mine off of a D15A3 motor. I was just looking online and Wikipedia states that the motor has a 13.5:1 Compression Ratio... Is this wrong? Did I get a different head? Am I going to have valve clearance issues? 91 octane? 110 octane? Help!

D15a3 head is off of the 1984-1987 CRX. if i am not mistaken.

• Displacement: 1488 cc
• Compression: 8.7:1
• Power: 91 hp @ 5500 rpm
• Torque: 93 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm
• Bore: 74 mm
• Stroke: 86.5 mm

the compression ratio of the D15A3 is 8.7:1 - putting that head onto D15A2 actually lowers the compression ratio
