i did a mpfi swap on my ef sedan it started right up when i was done
but it idles high
when i take the plug in the back of the IM the idle lowers
and when i hit the gas fast it bogs and trys to die
and its slow as ****
and it smokes white

i have an LS swap i just want to pass emissions and say i did a successful mpfi swap

 

What CEL's are you throwing

I'd say you have an intake air control valve issue, but white smoke from that? Ehhhh.

What condition is this LS in?

 

its throwing 7 and 10 i believe
and the ls is in good condition and i just got a perfect b16 tranny with 60000miles on it and hasport mounts

 

So you're throwing codes for TPS and IAT and you wonder why it idles high and bogs down?

Did you remember to swap the 2 tps wires? If not the engine will think it is at wide open throttle. White smoke = burning water
