Default Highly Considering Purchasing a CRX - Few Questions!

I found this on CL, and I think I may take the plunge.

What do you guys think?

Would I be better off buying a CRX shell and doing an engine swap myself? My mech can do a swap for under $1000, it was only $550 to plus parts to swap a 454 into my blazer.

I say go for it, the price seems fair for it cleanliness. This all depends on how well the engine runs and the condition of the transmission.

You could probably buy a shell and put a swap in for the same price, perhaps less, but finding a clean shell is becoming a harder and harder task nowadays.
