which tranny used

if a were to use a 92-93 ls bock for a lsv swap. which tranny would be best to use? a b16 hydro or cable tranny? btw the car is a 89 ef hatch

B16 cable trans if those are your options. You could use the hydro one but would have to also get a cable-to-hydro conversion.
