f22b1 speed sensor problem

my buddie has a 91 accord with a f22b1 swap in it. we can't get the speedometer to work, i know it has something to do with the wire harness going from ob0 to an ob2? motor. if anybody knows what to do besides getting the wire harness fused together help me out! thankyou!

1) it could be an OBDI motor
2) VSS is a culprit when it comes to speedos not working BUT it should throw a CEL light as well, if not it may be his cluster
