Default New to suspension...

Would spring+shocks be better than coilovers+shocks? I am looking to slam my 95 accord 3"-4" and only looking to spend $500-$600. And what brands do you guys recommend for springs and shocks for that price? I was thinking of Sprint Springs and Tokico Illuminas.

I don't know if they make springs that lowers 3"-4", if that is your preference, a coilover system is for you.

look for a full coilover kit.
there are plenty of sponsors on here that offer them for your price rance. you should be able to get some ksports/pic/or tein basic for that price. and the full coilovers include the springs and shocks together

Have fun with that.

You should probably continue saving, then spend 3x that amount on an airbag or air cylinder setup to just do it right the first time.

koni yellows.

i would go with ground control coilovers. right now i have springs and i want it lower.

with that amount of drop that you want you will need good shocks too. koni sport will be good. people have good reviews on the sports.
