Default Looked at a 08 Si today

Well my 07 was in for an oil change today I peeked around at a few new 08 Si's. Like everyone has said there are no visual changes etc......except I saw that they now come with a red stitched shift boot. I had no idea. I went to the parts dept to get a number and a price, but they dont have the 08's listed yet.

Thats what I said no changes.....except for the shift boot that now has red stitching....the 06-07's did not have that.

08's have TPMS....red shift boot stitching.....lower mpg rating with the new government change....no rubber anti-slip piece next to the aux plug or in the armrest....in the armrest is now a piece of felt instead....and most come with the darker wheels now....

right on the money. Plus the arm rest extends so you can put your entire forearm on it. I dunno if this is the case for the later models but its clutch nonetheless. I wanted a new car, but wasn't settling for any 07 that had been rotting away on the lot for about a full year. No thanks. Plus there is the resell value, but thats way down the road.

I've had mine since 10/4 and just threw an Injen CAI on it two days ago. I can tell the difference throughout all 8k RPMS. when you step on it gives a mean, not obnoxious, growl . Love it.

Thinking about what my second mod should be. I'm torn between a strut tower and new headers. Your thoughts are grealy appriciated.

Love those rims. How much did they charge you for them (17s or 18s?) I tried to have em thrown on my NHBP at the dealership. The douche bag tried to tell me they were $1100 EACH I laughed in his face, grabbed a random customer walking by, told him, and we BOTH laughed in his face. The douche was not pleased. We did not care.
