$1 bob!
i'd say with the rise of honda value due to gas prices if it's in as good of shape as you say it is maybe $4000 to $4500
i didn't look it up on KBB i just used my hatch as a judgement
2000 DX Hatch with a moonroof and such
Good condition
135,XXX (even though it's 73,XXX on the new d16y7)
private party value $5035

Post it up and see what offers people give you...or try http://www.kbb.com. These types of posts are pointless.

What car is this in? It's not an EK coupe. Not if you want to sell it. Is it a DX coupe, EX coupe or HX coupe? I don't just care what motor is in it, though that would be helpful to know. I want to know if it has a/c, power windows, power door locks, an alarm, keyless entry, a moonroof, etc.
Most people don't care about engine swaps, or more likely don't want a car with an engine swap. The body being in bad condition will matter too. And as others have said, pics. You need pics if you want anyone to bite, even if all you want to know is how much people would theoretically pay.

i was speaking generally about Honda,Acura,Subaru,Nissan etc...economy cars. Their values have obviously risen, to make an economical decision would you elect to purchase a Mustang with a 4.6L V8 with gas @ 3.29 a gallon (pa) for a daily commuter? No, most people would not.

Which would not belong in this thread. People might buy a CR-V for gas mileage.. perhaps it has decent gas mileage for an SUV... but not for a Civic.
And the current Mustang GT (4.6L V8) gets 15 city / 23 highway. Then again... you said you mean entire economy car lines from import car manufacturers. So, really, if you were to speak generally about Ford's car line, they probably get decent gas mileage too.
But, when you want to talk about how a certain car gets crap gas mileage for what that certain car usually should... the entire maker's economy car line wouldn't come in to play at all and shouldn't even be mentioned because it has nothing to do with that one particular car being discussed... correct?
And bringing up a sports car is incredibly off topic. Just as bringing up the NSX or the S2000 for comparison would be off topic, even though they're both Hondas. Who buys one of those for an economical decision?
1996 Honda Civic coupe
30-39 mpg city / 38-45 mpg highway (depending on trim level)
2262+ pounds
Compact Car
1998 Honda CR-V
22 mpg city / 25 mpg highway
3126-3245 pounds
Small SUV
2007 Ford Mustang GT
15 mpg city / 23 mpg highway
3356 pounds
Sports Car
Either way, this is all off topic.
The OP's car probably does not get the same gas mileage that a stock Honda Civic coupe would get. Which is the point I was getting at before.

They did. He or someone else removed the power steering and air conditioning.
I know. I don't understand either.
As far as price, it depends on where you live too. Or where the buyer lives.
Put it up for sale as "testing waters".

I'd say that's about right. For how much total, if the inside is clean, starting at 4300 might be pretty good.
As far as the "b20 not being an economical motor" - I don't know where that line of crap came into play, but the standard/average displacement for a 4 cylinder naturally aspirated engine is 2L, that combined with the extremely non-aggressive fuel maps and low compression ratio of the B20 make it pretty damn economical. It may not be as economical as a Y8, but it's not far off, you're talking maybe 4mpg (tops) less on the highway when it's in a light *** civic chassis.

It's a Civic with an engine swap. Think about how many of those you have really seen that run like total *** and get horrible gas mileage because of it. Regardless of which engine swap even.
Still though, no one buys a swapped Civic for how economical the fuel mileage is.
Buyers of swapped Civics are a limited market. Probably about 90% of people out there won't want it.
