Default QUICK AXEL QUESTION

hey guys, I was wondering if $80 dollars is a good price on used axels? because I bought them from a local junk yard, they get jdm motors and all that, but i went and checked if they had rebuilt ones.. they didnt have any but used ones....
i was in a rush to get some and i just bought them... the axels seem like they are in good conditon no tears, or signs of banging or rust....
I was gonna get some in costa mesa for $50 but that seemed quite a drive for some axels that i wasnt too sure if they were good or not...

So please let me know if i got ripped or anything because I have a friend who said I can get some for $35 each brand new + core... That would help cuz im not sure how many miles were put on these axels.... thanks for reading

you can usually get brand new axels without a core charge for that cost...

[update] i put the axels in, and now it seems to be leaking tranny fluid. Is there anything to do with the seals inside or just that the axels dont line up quite well??
