S300, cant seem to upload tune correctly?
I am on my second p75 that is converted to p72 and setup for s300. I know the ecu is good and the last one was also (soldering was good). I was checking for a solid CEL after each component install since I had been getting a solid CEL before and I assumed I fried the ecu. So when I put on J1 with this new virgin ecu and put in the S300 it throws the solid CEL again and I have uploaded a basemap to try and get it going but I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong right now (shows that it is uploading the map)...Are there certain setting I need to be aware of on my computer that could be preventing it from transferring the proper map or what?...any help is appreciated

Are both leds lit green while the key is on & your connected with the laptop ?
If so, have you tried clicking the connect icon for datalogging to get your error codes ?
These are questions you should be asking who ever you bought the s300 unit from

one is red
on the hondata troubleshooting it says "Note that the LEDS on the s300 don't tell us anything extra over what we can determine from the steps above." (dont know what the heck that means) but thats the other thing i cant datalogg right now but the soldering on two good ecu's has been double and tripple checked so I dont know what to do about it other than look towards a faulty unit like stated

It sounds like you improperly installed the hardware. Soldering or otherwise.
If you can't datalog & both leds are not green, you have an issue with your soldering/hardware installation.

I already bought a new ecu and chipped it as well to fit s300, exact same situation came up and I am not new to soldering. The only thing I can think of is the computer I was using may not function properly because when my buddy tried using it for chrome he ran into a very similar problem where he could not burn maps to his romulator with the laptop itself...Ill try and borrow a laptop and upload the map then I will get back on what happened
