Hello, well my question for the day is im about to buy a 94 del sol, and in my state which is connecticut. We have to do emissions before we can fully register the car. And i wanted to now what you guys think i should do to prepare the del sol with flying colors. There is no check engine light on the car but im still having the doubt that it might feel for having high numbers of Carbs and what not. So what should i do to prepare? Thanks guys!

I just purchased a 95 del sol vtech out of an auction. All I did was change the oil and it passed the smog check with no problems. If you want to completely make sure, you may want to do a complete tune up with new spark plugs, wireset, cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter, oil, and oil filter etc. Honda's run very efficiently you shouldnt have much of a problem passing a smog check.

 

What if it wasn't stock and say...turbo?

 

Any what if i dont live in california where they do smog and only regular emission? Like Co2,HC, etc. No smog though.
