I like this idea better than using an impact. less chance of over tightening.

boy, i can tell you are a beginner tuner. impact guns are great, and can make jobs alot easier. do not rely on them too much, this is how you will strip bolts and break them. trust me i know.

i agree w/Luserkid. this way you have less of a chance of over tightening or even worse, breaking the bolt.
boy, i can tell you are a beginner tuner. impact guns are great, and can make jobs alot easier. do not rely on them too much, this is how you will strip bolts and break them. trust me i know.

i agree w/Luserkid. this way you have less of a chance of over tightening or even worse, breaking the bolt.
yea i got a friend to hold the bolt on the other side of the motor and used a cheater bar, then i tighten the flywheel to like 75 ft/lbs and did the same to the clutch... but with 25 ft/lbs of torque. thanks for the info i got the tranny on and now bolted on the starter and the clutch slave. and now for the other brakets that where on the bottom of the motor.. thats a job for tomorrow gonna go watch a local football game with the wife lol!!! here's one for everyone!
