So DaveB and I were chit chatting today over the phone and he was trying to make me produce OEM Optional Side Skirts out of hopes and dreams.

Little did he know, I actually do have a New-In-Box complete set of the Optional Body Kit which includes the front, the rears, and the sides. (Before you flood my inbox, THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE! They're for research and testing. )

So I asked Dave what would he do for it? Would he run for a mile? Swim for a 1/4 mile? Eat a bowl of worms? I'm not going to share what his responses were, but how bad do you guys want something like this?

It seems like it's a seasonal item. When one person inquires about them, the entire message forum does also.

What was the price when they were being sold at Acura dealers? I'd be interested.

About 3 years ago when they were readily available, I was selling them at $500 plus shipping for the entire set.

Full retail on them were $1,029.00 at the time for the set. We gave a 50% discount to HT members for them.

I already have mine on standby and they use to be black.

I would just watch and see what would happen

They best on black Hype R's (which we all know are a figment of our collective imagination), but that's not saying they look all that good.

i have always liked these things but i aint no rich man so kinda hard for me to afford..

 

back in the day (2000 - when I bought my itr brand new), Radley Acura in VA had their oem optional equipment bodykits for sale for $499 shipped iirc, this was for both side skirts, the front lip, and the rear valences.

I bought it online and they shipped it to my door. I sold the front lip for $250 brand new in box.....

I'd prefer to get an INGS+1 or CWEST, etc bodykit than pay the high cost people want to sell them for these days.....
