Default Difference between higher end suits?

Hey guys, I can't seem to find many reviews after searching the internet about actual quality regarding an Alpinestars Stage 2 piece suit and an Alpinestars V4 2 piece suit.

The V4 suit retails for $1000+ and I found one on ebay for $650 and I found the Stage suit on closeout for $480. Anybody have any first hand knowledge? I'm looking to pick one up...like tonight

If the thickness of the leather is the same, and stitching is the same which I would imagine. I would think the higher end suit has better ventalation and comfort. As far as protection, I would think they would be very similar. Someone correct me if I am wrong but that is my understanding.

For A*, you'll probably get the included back protector + aero hump with the more expensive suit. As mentioned, the ventilation system is usually better on the higher priced suits.

The best suit for you is the one that fits you best. Try 'em both on to make sure (if you can).

just like helmets, the best one is what fits you the best

definitely try it on if possible. its a little more to it than simply Jacket Size + Pant Size

Haha I get it lol...but in all seriousness it kinda sux becuz i'm only 5'3 but weigh 150+ so finding something that fits is pretty difficult. I need a 36/46 but those on average only range up to 130lbs...I won't be able to try these on I'll just take my chances.

$480 for the Stage suit is the cheapest I've found for pretty much any suit out there and might just go that route. It's all black however so visibility might be limited to cagers...still debating between that and the other suit which is blue/white/gray/black. I need to stop spending money lol
