can the tl front be placed on the cl body??? i kno anything is possible with enough money but i'm wondering if it's possible to do with "ease."

 

I think the TL lights are bigger. It might be able to be done if you swap fenders, bumper, hood. lights, grill. Some fabrication, Im sure anything can be done.

 

The fron frame rails are pretty similar. The bulkhead, crossmember and horn bracket are the same, but the left and right side pieces and center support are different. This is probably because the headlights are different.

well i dont have one jus yet but i love the tl and i like the cl rear end but the front end looks odd to me. i've been debating on which one i should get and i was was wonder if maybe i can get the best of both worlds. i figured some minor fab work and swapping the the fenders headlights, etc. but i wasnt too sure on the dimensions of each car

 

I love my tl, but if I had to choose, id get the cl-s with the 6 speed! Then supercharge that bitch!

 

well, it would require weldwork, i assume, its not quite as easy as a swap as say a golf front end on a jetta or vice versa, i'd imagine it could look pretty cool!

 

the front panels are all interchangeable you can put a TL end on a CL and vise versa
