While most of you may not be able to get your car out in the snow/ice conditions during January, Sebring will be open.

January 17-20th is the dates.

PBOC will be hosting a 4 day track event (4 days for those Solo, 2 for Intermediate, 0 for novice)

This is at the historical Sebring Raceway in Sebring, Florida.



Several area's on track you'll be over 100 MPH.

I've mentioned this upcoming event in the Expo thread and I think in the FL meet thread, but wanted to make a new post for all those that would like to attent.

If you can't drive the event, your still more than welcome to come and hang during the winter off season.

Yeah, as in there will be no instructors so Novice drivers are out. There is Intermediate only for Saturday-Sunday.

Solo has all 4 days if you want it, but you can do 3, 2 or 1 if you'd like.

 

I signed up last night. WOOT!

Ill be running Sat-Sun. But will be coming up on Friday morning


To go with what Dave said, when I called the lady said that since this was such a big event they did not want to have complete noobs out there. Intermediate drivers will still have instructors.

And they let me sign up for Intermediate with having Expo 7 and We-Todd 2 under my belt.

Would love to, but with my relocation i just don't know how feasible this would be due to vacation days usally being few with the start of a new jarb.

 

Dave, maybe you should edit your first post to include the dates for the event.

They have instructor sign-up available, when I was registering. It was cheap as hell too.

And that Monday after the event is a Holiday (Martin Luther King Jr. Bday); well atleast for me it is.

For those coming from other states, this should make it easier for you guys, so you guys don't have to rush back for work sunday night.

I looked at the site, how much is it? How much for 4 days? I figure I could come down and do 1 lapping day to figure everything out and then 2 DE days. this looks awesome D.

4 days = IIRC, just under $600
2 days = $350

To check prices you must sign-up. Look near the bottom left where it has "Event Registration" when you click on that it will ask for you to log in. From there you can register. Once you get that out the way, you will be taken to the event page. Scroll down to the bottom/end. The last event listed is WINTERFEST 2008. Click on the winterfest and it will take you to the registration/prices page.

I signed up to view more details. However, I don't think I would be able to drive since I only have one event under my belt. The timing is pretty good though, Id like to make the event just to hang and take pictures etc.

 

All are more than welcome to come and hang. Have a mini winter vaca.
