Default Just changed to H4H and need some good bulbs. Please help!

Last night I installed my JDM EG6 headlights. It brought a set of H4H bulbs (factory) but their a little too low for me. I had before an HID kit 8000k H4 on my old USDM headlights, but that i got rid of, too much glare. So im looking for some good bulbs. So far all i see is bulbs from Polarg and Raybrig that are H4H. Is there anything out there that gives out better light and is cheaper. Haven't found the Philips X-Treme in H4H so thats out of suggestion. Thanks

Unfortunately, the selection of H4H bulbs is very limited, as you've discovered. If you can find something from one of the manufacturers you listed that isn't coated, it might be an improvement over your stock ones.

These are the only ones I found that seem to have potential, though they're obviously a bit pricey and I wouldn't expect overwhelming output from them.

Yikes! There's defenitely have to be some good bulbs out there for H4H. I just found out that Camp1320.com has HID's for H4h, but i dont want to go that route again. These stock H4H bulbs light up better than my HID's did. The glare off of everywhere gave the impression that they were brighter but once i would get in a really dark area i wouldn't be able to see that far away in the road. lol.

I"ll look around for more options from Raybrig. If only Phillips had some H4H bulbs.

55W for the low beams will be fine.

Most bulbs that say 55/65W are actually 51 watts low beam and 60 watts high beam.

Had these on in my JDM Del Sol Headlights and absolutely loved them. Bright crystal clear white color. Best part I like out of my light bulbs is the difference between low and high beams, which these Raybrig's did the trick. High beams lit up the whole road. Bought them for a little cheaper a couple years back (~$60) and they were easier to find too. I'd still recommend getting them though. I think they even had those in ~4200k for a while.

Also, one of my low beams on those raybrigs JUST burnt out (~3 Years of use). So i'm looking for a new set, but as i said, hard to find a good deal. I'm thinking I might go with th PIAA's. I'd buy Polarg, just don't like the brand name. Maybe if they are cheap enough.

p.s. some rainbow coated h4h's i had for a while. Put the raybrigs back on because of the unwanted attention from popo.
