I was interested in puting amber fog lights on my '99 Accord EX sedan 4cyl. I have seen some 3" round units mounted in the air intake opening in the bumper at either end? Found them on Pilot web site? But only come clear or blue I want amber, for REAL fog and snow conditions. Do these custom fogs plug into teh stock wiring harness?

 

Get the clear ones and buy amber headlight film and put them over them.

They will most likely not just plug right in. You will need to figure out the wiring on your own.

 

I know the Custom fit Pilot makes for the '99 Civic is "plug and play with existing harness" Like the OEM set??

 

When you say amber, do you mean yellow? If so, you can just buy some yellow bulbs and put them in there. That's what I did for my fogs on my 97, bright as hell and look really good.

Or, you can do a combo. Yellow bulbs and some of that Krylon Stained Glass paint in yellow. That way, the glass of the fogs will be yellow when they're not on. More of a cosmetic thing that way though.

 

I guess I could just put the yellow bulbs in.
