i bought a radio from an s2000, i just wired it into my 92 cx. It lights up, and the theft light blinks. on top of the radio is a sticker with a 5 digit number(all 1-6) and the serial number. i just pushed in the 5 digit number on the sticker but it doesnt do anything. the guy i bought it from said that was the security code. is there anything special i need to do?

 

ya security codes on head units are weird-I've seen chevy ones that you hold down a button for like 10 secs then type in the code and hit something else-it's really weird-does anybody know the exact way to do it?

 

yes, please if there is something special i need to do, other than just type it in. it has a small rectangular sticker on the top with just the serial number and a 5 digit code, so i think its the right one. it just blinks the light, it doesnt say security or anything on the cd player.

 

cant you call your local dealer and ask them how to enter your code? they should be able to help you out.. I don't own an S2K so I don't know.. sorry..
