I forget the procedure, but this is a common problem. You just gotta play with the axle and pop it back in. Can't remember if the car should be in gear or not.

This is why you almost need 2 people to swap the front suspension...one to hold the assembly up and one to drop the strut. I just use a ratcheting tie-down strap to keep it upright.

Do a google search and the solution should come up.

I just hit mine with a hammer and it popped back up. It is like the joint gets hyper extended. I hit the bracket that bolts to the strut with a hammer a couple time and it popped back up. Haven't had any problems yet.

NO! Don't hit anything with a hammer to get the axle back in. You want the teeth on the tranny or axle to get marred up? Best case is that you just damage that outer CV joint.

Finesse is key; it'll just slide back in with the proper shove and angle.

yeah, that sucks
happen to me too when i installed mine

but do this ^
mine was in gear the entire time of the installation so i don't think that should be a problem

also, check every now and then, maybe a week later to see if you have a tear in your cv boot
looks like white grease inside of the wheel (common problem if you let your brake hang)

you have to pull it out and push it in.. kinda like having sex.. lol
but like they all say you have to play with it before you get it in.... LMFAO. You'll know when it pops back in. That **** sucks. Mine was out of gear when i was doing it. It's better to do it in gear that way it's not turning on you.
