Plenty of people use synchromesh. Grinding synchro's have been covered many times, and solutions to solving them have been answered. I recommend searching the recent and archived threads.

Me personally no, I've never had gear's grind. I use OEM Honda MTF. Syncromesh is said to only "hide" the grinds, not fix them.

LS tranny I believe is a little bit over 2 quarts. Let me check the helm's manual real quick.

Depending on how bad that grind is you can also use Redline Super Light-Weight Shock-Proof gear oil. That's a mouth full, but the stuff works like butter.

Synchromesh is just a band-aid. it doesn't "fix" the grinds. It will help decrease them though.

Grinds happen from rounded synchros, the only fix for that is replacement.
