im just curious. if lets say a 600 cc (like a f4i) is a entry level bike and a 900 cc bike (like a r1 or gsxr 1000r) is an advanced level bike. what is a 750? how come gsxr 750s are so popular?
an F4i is hardly an entry level bike.....all the sportbikes are relatively the same speed, give or take a few 1/10s of a second in the 1/4 mile, the difference in the bigger cc bike is torque and a lot better top end, the decision is based on your personal preferance, what do you want from a sport bike

yeah the 750 pretty much a 600 class bike with a 750 motor.
however, it seems that its an extremely well sorted and balanced racing bike, and it even has its own class in professional racing, basically you have to buy this bike to compete in the class! forget what its called. someone can remind me.
the CBR954RR follows this formula with an even bigger motor - it weighs about 370lbs - nearly the same as an f4. crazy!
just remember...all these bikes have WAY MORE power and handling than whats necessary for the street. the bigger displacement is nice on the street...BUT a bike is faster than damn near anything else to begin with.
just my opinion.

Yeah it's an all around better bike, it all really depends on the rider though. Put a shitty rider on a 1300cc Hayabusa then a good rider on a SV650 and guess who is going to win..
Mid 10's out of the crate is always nice... I don't even want to talk about these things in the twisties..
