Default Some new pictures with autocross race wheels/tyres installed.

Sorry about the quality of pictures... it's a 1mega pixel digital cam-corder...trying to be a digital camera..

Rota Slipstreams in gun metal, 15x6.5.... wrapped in Kumho Victoracer V700s.

The tyres will be the autocross set while my BBS's will be used for road courses...

Are you sure it wasn't just a mix up?

Black

Gunmetal

They are similar but I don't know, I guess we will have to wait until mine come in to confirm this.

His are gunmetal (I know they look black in the pictures). I saw them in person before he put them on. I'll get some pictures of his car with my digital camera soon.

holy.....what type of EXT'd wheelstuds did you use?!?!?! Ive heard Skunk2's arent good...theyre soft and like to grab on to the lugnuts, even break at times....so what did you use?? I was thinking of 89 integ studs all the way around...but i wondered how far they would stick out...or maybe not stick out ENUFF..

Z.Speed extended studs...they cross-thread very easily. I only added them to run the BBS rims...

they are gunmetal... it's probably the camera. stupid car is broken though (another thread)

I checked out your car on your website. I agree, road racing is addicting. I took home many trophies years ago running a 88 Si with the stock motor in CSPT class (C class, street prepared, street tire).

After becoming a father and the local college not letting the clubs around here use this "Police training course", I havent auto crossed in awhile. I'm starting to get back into it. Lately Ive been attending drag racing events in Wisconsin. There are no Twin Cities drag strips in MN.

I have a couple 4th gen "projects" going on. I'm using a 88 SI with B16 as a daily driver. I suppose with that B16 it would put me in the MOD class. Mind as well go for R compound tires and those nice WILLWOODs you have.

I suppose you can run 14's anymore with that brake conversion right?

Looks GOOD!!!

You know, after asking the appearance/cosmetic forum... they offered some ideas... what it came down to is, i went to pep boys, bought some tyre chalk... it's like a pencil... $2 later...

the V700 (victoracers) are $112/ea, non-shaved, non-heat cycled.
