Yes you can use the same axles as long as all you change is the tranny.The D series axles are all the same on the side that goes into the tranny.The difference is on the hub side.The 4 speed uses 23 spline and DX and SI use 26 spline.So as long as you don't go changing the hubs your fine.

reason i asked if you go to buy axles they have a pink or yellow stripe on them, and you must order them to match....
