Do you guys have any tips? I'm goin in today, already took one for a test drive, loved it, but I'm wondering what should I look for when buying.

So far I'm planning on getting an 07, since I know that they're most likely going to give me a better deal on something they're trying to get rid of. Also, I know that the difference between MSRP and invoice is rougly $1200-1500.

Suppose a Civic Coupe (LX or EX) is 18500. Should I try and offer invoice (around 17000)? Has anyone had any luck with offering below invoice (do you guys know of any common dealer holdbacks/incentives?)?

I got my lx for dealer cost price. $16,396. It was 17 somthin otd.

 

with enough haggling and standing true he should budge and give you a better price then the first offer, just remind him that if he gives you a better price, youll walk with car right at that instance. it should get you a better prce.
